This project involved the addition of a conservatory and converting a spare bedroom into a walk in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.
The brief was to “open up” the rear of the house to the garden. The addition of the conservatory is spacious, light and airy and did not affect the inherent character of the bungalow, a factor that is important to Salmond Reed Architects. Steel and timber formed the roof framing, timber doors and double-glazed windows were utilised in the construction.
Our client specified rich and earthy tones for the en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. The new bathroom features an impressive full height mirror wall behind a floating vanity. To illuminate the bathroom, a skylight was added over the open shower area.
